The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
are the archives of the Metropolitan New York Synod (MNYS) ELCA and its predecessor bodies. The archives contains records dating to the founding of the New York Ministerium by Johann Kunze (the son-in law of Henry Melchior Muhlenberg, the father of American Lutheranism) in 1786, and pre-synodical materials from the early days of the Lutheran church in New York. A complete listing of the holdings can be downloaded here.
The archives is overseen by the Archives Advisory Committee of the MNYS.
