Child Youth and Family Ministry
Child Youth and Family Committee Mission Statement: To have a grace filled impact on children, youth, emerging adults, and families throughout our synod which boldly empowers all of us to live out our baptismal call in the world. Focus areas: - Baptismal Identity: to articulate a shared common theological understanding for CYFM based in the baptismal covenant...CYFM is at the heart of ministry with every person equally valued from the infant to the elderly.
- Connectivity: to strengthen the network of support for CYFM throughout our synod by connecting people, congregations, conferences, and communities.
- Equipping: to provide training that empowers leadership development in CYFM throughout our synod.
We want to know: Please tell us your stories. We want to know what is going on so that we can share it with other congregations. If you are planning an event, let us know and we will also help get the word out.
