Join us on for a day of presentations by and conversations with two seminary professors who will offer exegetical highlights from selected lectionary readings for the Sundays and Festivals in Christmastide and Epiphany. Leading us will be Professors Robert Owens (Old Testament) and Katherine Shaner (New Testament) both from The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church in New York City. This day is sponsored by the Metropolitan New York Synod and the Mercer School of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. There is a $50 fee, which covers event costs and lunch.

Due to ongoing effects from Hurricane Sandy, the Preaching the Lectionary Event has been rescheduled for December 11.
