Synod Financial Reports

In 1 Corinthians 12, St. Paul says that we are one body made up of many individual members. This metaphor applies to our life together as ELCA members too, because our wider church, our synod and its congregations are all members of the same body.

To enable all these parts of the body to be Christ’s body, it is essential that all members of the body be accountable to one another for the gifts God has given us, including the monies entrusted to our care and stewardship. Our financial activities must be transparent, and this is what this information is meant to be. If you have any questions, please contact Kathleen Schmidt, Assistant to the Bishop for Finance and Administration.
