Volunteers Needed for Telechaplaincy

Dear friends and colleagues,

The need for spiritual care in the unprecedented time is critical. We are beginning to receive calls from healthcare institutions who need additional spiritual care provider assistance. If you are a student who needs hours to complete a CPE unit, a retired professional who is searching for ways to help, a psychotherapist who wants to provide mental health support to affected communities, or a trained lay person or member of the clergy who would like to offer spiritual care through telechaplaincy, please complete the form linked below from ACPE. We are grateful for your support to our colleagues and those they serve during this crisis.

We are seeking volunteers to meet these requests. If you would like to be considered for telechaplaincy support, please complete the following formhttps://form.jotform.com/clarkacpe/telechaplaincy-volunteer-form. Names and information will only be shared with institutional leadership working to meet the needs of those whom they serve. If you have questions or need more information, please email [email protected]. You may also want to explore resources for spiritual care during this crisis, available here from our colleagues at the Chaplaincy Innovation Labhttps://chaplaincyinnovation.org/2020/03/chaplaincy-coronavirus

We encourage you to review the APC Code of Ethics before signing the volunteer registration form.

Thank you for your dedication to our shared work.
