KAREN FALCO
MNYS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Karen Falco recently joined the Metropolitan New York Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as Chief Operating Officer. Karen comes to MNYS with 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry. During her 22-year tenure with UMC Medical Consultants, Karen held various positions. For the past nine years as COO, she handled HR functions, managed the Operations, IT, Sales and Finance teams, who together, successfully achieved industry related accreditations and certifications.
Karen and her husband Gerry live in Valhalla and are long time, active members of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pleasantville. They have two sons, and a lovable black lab. Karen knows the Holy Spirit led her to MNYS and is so blessed to have this opportunity to be part of Bishop Egensteiner’s staff working with such a great team of people committed to God’s work.
