2023 Hudson Conference Report

Overall, we all work well together. We support one another, listen, help in any way that we can, and we are quite collaborative in general.
We were actually excited that Pastor Sonja Maclary made the difficult decision to step away from her coverage pastor position at Saugerties. That was so very freeing for her, and we all took it as a lesson to be more intentional about valuing ourselves too.
Our conference is fairly wide-spread geographically, and most of our pastors either juggle multiple congregations or juggle two careers–which doesn't leave a lot of space for us to pursue collective community purpose, unfortunately. The community can continue to pray for our congregations, that they can continue to thrive in the midst of stressors all around!
