Northeast Queens

2025 Northeast Queens Conference Report

The Rev. Analyse Triolo, Dean

Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow!

While our conference may be small in size, we are witnessing a vibrant and thriving ministry. We are pleased to welcome The Pastor Marianne Tomecek as she begins her role as Interim Pastor at Christ Lutheran Church, Fresh Meadows.

At Holy Trinity, we are delighted to see our Bible study ministry continue to flourish. This season, we have partnered with St. John’s Lutheran Church in Albany, under the leadership of The Rev. Josh Evans, for a meaningful Lenten study of Entering the Passion of Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine. This collaborative effort is just one example of the strong growth in both our spiritual practices and community connections.

Over the past two years, Holy Trinity has experienced significant growth in membership. We have welcomed 12 new members, and our youngest members have grown from 3 to 11. This growth is a testament to the vitality of our church, and we are excited to add four potential new members this Easter season.

On March 1, 2025, Holy Trinity participated in a service project for The Midnight Run, providing food, clothing, and new winter boots to those experiencing homelessness in the City. This outreach initiative exemplifies the heart of our congregation as we continue to serve those in need.

There is much to celebrate within our congregation at this time. In June 2024, Pastor Analyse married Mr. Samuel Lewis, who has since become an active and engaged member of our church. Additionally, Pastor Analyse celebrated two significant milestones—her fifth anniversary of ordination on January 17, 2025, and her fifth anniversary serving at Holy Trinity on February 18, 2025. These milestones were marked with a joyful renewal of ordination vows on January 5, 2025, in a special service with Bishop Paul Egensteiner serving as preacher. The day was further commemorated with a celebratory tea.

Looking ahead, Holy Trinity is preparing to celebrate a monumental occasion—our 100th Anniversary! From October 2025 to October 2026, we will host a series of monthly celebrations culminating in a grand 1920s-themed gala on October 4, 2026. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and be a part of this community for the past century, and we eagerly anticipate all that lies ahead.
