Mark your calendars! This October, the Metropolitan New York Synod invites clergy and deacons to gather for our 2026 Bishop's Retreat: "Prophetic Presence for the People!" The Deacons' Retreat runs October 21–23, hosted at the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in Farmington, CT. Each track brings a lineup of gifted speakers — including The Rev. Dr. Ruben Duran, The Rev. Dr. Christian D. von Dehsen, and The Rev. Susanah Wade — plus plenty of time to rest, share meals, and reconnect as a synod (karaoke included!).
