The Center for Evangelical Mission invites all pastors and church leaders to a free breakfast on Saturday, February 23 from 9:30-noon at Ascension Lutheran Church, 33 Bay Shore Rd, Deer Park to share in a forward-looking conversation about ways we can create a culture that empowers our leaders and members to share their faith so people can begin to encounter God and experience Christian community in our local churches. The Center for Evangelical Mission invites all pastors and church leaders to a free breakfast, to share in a forward-looking conversation about ways we can create a culture that empowers our leaders and members to share their faith so people can begin to encounter God and experience Christian community in our local churches. This event will generate ideas about ways we can assist one another in training and supporting people for local evangelism initiatives. The CEM can organize training events, provide coaching for leaders, and gather people for inspiring worship and reflection on the scriptures. There is no cost for this event. Participants will be invited to become subscribing members of the Center for Evangelical Mission and share in the development of programs and a variety of other resources to strengthen their churches in the areas of evangelism and stewardship.
