This month we will host a special LGBTQ Pride Open Mic featuring the amazing Erin McKeown and Kat Edmonson!
Erin McKeown is a musician, writer, and producer known internationally for her prolific disregard of stylistic boundaries. She has released 10 full length albums and several EPs over the last 20 years, all the while refining her distinctive and challenging mix of American musical forms. Texas native Kat Edmonson’s latest album of original songs, Old Fashioned Gal, has been a smash hit. Combining Americana with The Great American Songbook, the album has been garnering ecstatic reviews throughout the country.
We’ll be holding a Lottery at the top of the show to determine which performers will get to play two songs (10 minutes max, including set-up and take-down). Everyone else gets one song (5 minutes max, including set-up and take-down).
