Combining the talents of Joann Flax on flute, Christina Barkan on French horn and Marguerite Abatelli on piano, The Jomati Trio has been performing together for 3 years. Their repertoire has encompassed the classical, romantic and contemporary genres. They have performed at well-known venues including the Staller Center, the 92nd Street Y, and Opera America. For this concert, the trio will perform the 1st Movement of Carl Reinecke's Trio, Opus 111; the Rachmaninoff "Vocalise" for French horn and piano, Enrique Granados' 5th Spanish Dance, "Andaluza" for piano and Manuel de Falla's “The Ritual Fire Dance" from “El Amor Brujo” also for piano solo.
