We are in the midst of a mass extinction of species. We will be showing the 90 minute film "Racing Extinction" in 30-minute segments over 3 Sundays. Each screening will be followed by a discussion to review what we have learned and what we can do to address the factors that are causing the loss of species.
Our earth is in the midst of a mass extinction of species. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, Oscar®-winner Louie Psihoyos (The Cove) assembles a team of artists and activists intent on showing the world never-before-seen images that expose issues of endangered species and mass extinction. You are invited to join us as we screen "Racing Extinction" in three 30 minute segments followed by discussion over three Sunday afternoons. Light refreshments will be provided at this free event.
Screenings will be January 26, February 9 and February 23.
