The Power of Forgiveness – Roll The Stone Away

Colossians 3:13b states, “ Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” On Saturday, October 6th, we came together to begin the exploration of what true forgiveness looks like. We explored Forgiveness= Grace & Mercy; Reconciliation/Change; Unity in the Church; and Worship/Love.
The day was hosted by the Southwest Nassau Conference and supported through a grant from the Metro New York Synod.
In addition to the pastors from the conference, we were joined by Revs. Michelle Townsend de Lopez and Angela Khabed, both from Wisconsin and Rev. Jerome Taylor from Ohio who led us through specific aspects of “Forgiveness” that reflects how the importance of “Forgiveness” is such an integral part of our lives; yet we don't realize the many different ways our lives are impacted.
We thank God for the opportunity to begin the conversation and look forward to the continued spiritual leading of the Holy Spirit.
