The Strategic Plan Sent Committee, in collaboration with Seafarer's International House, has been working on setting up what are necessary items for a Welcome Pack to make sure that arriving asylees are given the items they most need.
If your congregation is interested in contributing with some of the items, below, please bring them to the Sent Committee display table during our 2018 MNYS Annual Assembly.
 

1. One-week unlimited Metro card
2. Trader joe's, Food Emporium or Whole Foods food card ($15 minimum)
3. Toothbrush
4. Toothpaste
5. Deodorant or antiperspirant
6. Combs
7. Nail clippers
8. T-shirts (Men's medium or large sizes)
9. Underwear (medium or large sizes)  
10. Laundry detergent pods
11. Gift cards for Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory or TJ Maxx ($15 minimum)
